Slacker! That's me!

Sorry for the gap in updates! Lot's going on!

We were able to finally make the trip south to see family this past weekend. Haven't been down since Christmas, and so much has changed. The kids are growing, Dad's getting himself a baby blue Beetle convert, Harley has a mohawk! I mean, what's next!?

Was fantastic to see everyone! The girls go lot's of bonding time in. By bonding I mean shopping of course. With Erica also expecting and Jess getting "maui'd" this summer, they had plenty to shop for.
Friday, Harley got the families together for a bit of a benefit dinner. Everyone showed up with gift cards for us. Can't thank Harley enough for putting that together. Considering our situation, me in school full time, money is very tight, so we can't thank everyone enough for their help. Hope to be able to repay everyone someday.

The rest of the our time there, we just relaxed. It was great. Got to spend a day with Dad surf shop hopping. He found a potential shaper for his dream board. A local guy. And he also found a UV blocking rash guard. That will make the ladies and Dr. Mac happy. Surf was flat and the water was still in the low to mid sixties, so I didn't even bother paddling out. We ate a great burger in Port A, and made a trip through the Texas Surf Museum. David and I also went out to the island Monday just to get out of the house. Beaches were crowded once the weather cleared up. It was great to get to the beach, but I was hoping for some surf. Oh well, this summer it's on!

Harley and fam made several trips to CC to see us. The guys played several games of hoops and made a few trips to Globogym to workout. Babies had fun no matter where they were.

Aimee and I were able to make it to church with my family on Sunday followed by a pot-luck in Bishop. Heather made potato soup and Mom made chicken and dumplins, aka squishy bisquit soup. Had a good turnout. Lots of family from all over.

We drove back Wednesday morning so I could get back to work that afternoon. We were sad to leave, but had to get back to reality.

Now for some pictures!

Here's Aimee at 23 weeks!

Here she is at 25 weeks. She was on her way out the door to work, so wasn't in the best mood for pictures :-(Here's the latest of Liam's room and some of us painting. Clay came over to lend a hand. Apparently he has lot's of experience from home painting walls, so he was a big help! Also our bedding showed up while we were gone, so the room should be ready for his arrival.

Here's little Taylor having fun with a tortilla!

I will post more in a couple days. Hope everyone is well!
