Now still only nine months old, our little dude is learnin' up a storm! He recently started making puppy sounds when he would hear Penni barking (which is waaaaay too often). But in the past couple of days he will now play along with us....
Friday night we were having dinner at our favorite restaurant. He was being his usual charming self, flirting with the girls, smiling at strangers. He was also doing his new favorite thing, his war cry! It's really funny because it's completely playful and silly, but not so much in a crowded eating joint. But later, he was sitting there checking people out while Aimee and I were chatting, when all of a sudden he leaned towards me, placed his hand on my arm, and let out a solid "Da Da". I was speechless. It was like he was letting me know who I was. I have been looking forward to that moment for a very long time, but I didn't expect it so soon. The best kind of surprise!
Hope everyone is well!
Signed,
Proud "Da Da"
