12 Weeks!

Here is Aimee's 12 week pic. Not much different that 10, maybe a little change. She seems to be getting some energy back and feeling a little better.

We are traveling home this week for Christmas with the families. Can't wait to get there and see everyone.

Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!

Bored...

Not much new to report. Just Penni and I stirring around our quiet little apartment. Finals finished on the 9th and work has hit its seasonal wall, so not much for me to do. School is out till January 20th, so I have over a month off.

Been sitting around contemplating creative methods of making money with little to no effort. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know in a very brief email. By brief, I mean I don't want to be required to read too much. It makes me tired.

Been doing a little rearranging in the apartment. Trying to simplify our soon-to-be-much-more-complicated lives. My study room did a musical chairs type thing. The furniture just kinda spun around the room once and landed in a slightly different arrangement. Aimee didn't approve much, but this desk is very heavy and the Dr. told her not to lift more than 20 lbs.

Aimee and TBD are doing great. She seems to be getting some energy back, but still not quite her self. We won't go back to the Dr until the 9th of Jan, so should be lot's of growth by then. Should make for some great sonogram images.

Hope everyone is well!

And snowing, and snowing, and snowing.......

"Snow"!

A cold front blew through yesterday afternoon, and this was the result. This is considered snow to us "South Texans"!

It's Cold! Feels like winter finally.

P.S. Finals are OVER!!!! WHOOP! Now I just need to find a way to entertain myself for the next month. I'm sure Aimee will come up with some things to do.

Week 10 Belly Shot

Here's week 10:

With her tiny frame, she's already showing!

As I was pulling Aimee's pics off my camera, I found these gems. I had forgotten that Taylor had some fun with my camera, but she had left me some nice little reminders. I think I have the order correct just by looking at her changing expressions:

Coming to a hospital near you!

TBD!

Monday, December 1, 2008

Well, we made it home for a Turkey Day visit. Everyone seems to be doing great, and we even received some wonderful news. Can't share, but most of you know what it is.

Aimee's Granny and cousin made the trip in our backseat. Was nice to have them with us. I finally had someone to talk to since Aimee usually falls asleep within the first 5 miles of the trip! HA! Kidding, she actually was awake for most of the ride.

We go to the Dr. Friday for our first visit. We are both excited and a little nervous too. This will be our first "official" confirmation of TBD, and we should be getting a due date, woo hoo!

We have decided to stay in our apartment since we are mostly settled in and the rent is reasonable. This is good since I was not really looking forward to moving our stuff and paying new deposits. Just have to make some adjustments to our setup. If anyone wants to trade a small desk for a large, solid-oak desk, let me know in a comment and we can work something out. Need to make room for a crib!

Finals start for me Friday as well. We go to the Dr at 1030, then my Cal III exam is from 3 to 5. I then have 2 on Monday, Geology and mechanical engineering, and finally I finish up on Tuesday with my ethics class. Can't wait to be done with this semester, and move on to knock another one out. I have registered for the spring session. I am taking 16 hours comprised of Differential Equations, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Drilling and Reservoir Petrophysics. Ugh. This may prove to be the most challenging semester yet. Time will tell.

Hope all is well!
