Big snow! Well, for us it was anyway....

Just wanted to share some pics from our big snow day! Snowed for a sold 5 or six hours. I took the afternoon off so we could all enjoy it together. Liam was fascinated by it, and was enjoying watching through the windows. Almost melted already, but sure was nice while it lasted. Glad there's nothing to shovel.

Hope everyone is well!

They are home!

After a nice weekend in Aggieland, my parents will finally be sleeping in their own bed. They have been in Ft. Worth/Dallas since the 5th, so I'm sure they were beyond ready to be home. Sounds like they had a really great time at the Ft. Worth Colemans.

We also had a visit from Aimee's twin cousins, Jeremy and Jonathan. They are aspiring Aggies, and were in town to attend the campus open house. We had a great visit with them. They seem to enjoy this city and are full of the Aggie spirit. They are also full of a lot of other things! HA! ZING! Just kidding! They are turning out to be really great men.

The McCumbers were also able to make it over for a couple hours. Duncan and Liam seemed like ol' chums, sharing toys and pulling each other's sock off. Duncan and Liam are only 10 days apart, so they are hitting their milestones almost in tandem. Amazing watching these two grow and change. Here are a couple pics from the McCumber McCamera. We seems to have misplaced our camera charger, so we are taking photos vicariously through others. We all know Jenny is good for at least one picture. At least.

Beyond words as to how grateful I am that there were no complications with his surgery. Thanks to all the Dr's that attended, and thanks to all those that were praying for his health and strength.

Love you Dad.

Slideshow

Just a funny little slide show I threw together with some music. Enjoy.

Jermo

Quick video...

Wanted to share a little video of Liam to show how mobile he's getting. He's beginning to draw his legs underneath him more and more, but now he's using them to push himself forward. Still mostly a belly crawl, but won't be long!

He's now has 4 teeth showing! The two uppers have broken through! Won't be long and he and I will be gnawing on ribs together!

This video is about 69 meg's so it might take a bit to load...

Dad's recovering very well. Might be able to go home this weekend! I would imagine they will be sad to end their stay at the Coleman B&B, but I bet that they are ready to be home too.

Hope everyone is well!

Update on Dad

Seems his surgery went great! It was apparently caught very early, so recovery should be flawless. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Hope everyone is well!

7 Months and 4 Days

Sorry for the lack of photo post lately. We are still working to get settled in the new place. Lot's of frames and curtains to hang. Enjoy! (Not sure what's with the underlined text, but don't know how to get rid of it)
Daddy's little helper!
Time for a couch nap
Mmmmm..Desert!

"Mama"

As you can tell, our little boy has become very energetic and curious. He wants to put his hands on everything he sees. He's not quite crawling yet, but has his own way of making it across the floor. Not sure quite how he's doing it, but turn your back and he has moved across the room! He's eating great, and becoming very vocal. We are also working on falling to sleep without help. It's going pretty well. After a meal, a couple good books, and kisses goodnight, he will cry for a short time then conk out. He's growing up so fast!

The rest of us are good too. Aimee's working hard to get the new place in order, and I am back in full swing for T - minus 3 semesters. Learning a lot this year between classes and interning. Can't wait to put it all to good use!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Wednesday

Well, we are finally settling into the new place.  It's nice and roomy, with a big back yard for Penni.  Long gone are the days of cold and rainy early morning walks!  WOO HOO!  She seems to enjoy it as well.

Liam is growing like a weed!  He's eating great, playing hard, and sleeping, well, like a baby.  We've been working on the self-soothing routine, and so far it's going well.  Hard to let the little guy cry.  He's been showing signs that crawling is not too far off.  His favorite is obviously meal is breakfast.  He gets fruit and oat cereal, and every bite is just as exciting as the last.  He sighs with delight when you present him with a freshly loaded spoon, then takes it all in with a soft moan.  It's hilarious.  It makes my weekends!

School is full steam ahead from day 1.  This is apparently the peak of difficulty for Aggie petroleum engineers.  The workload is fairly substantial, but fewer exams than last semester.  The light is getting brighter though!

Just wanted to say that all was well in our area.  Hope everyone is well!
