So, finals ended today along with hands-down most academically challenging year of my college career. Time to move on! Whoop!
Now that I have no legitimate excuse for pics and and a story or two, I thought I would get right to it. Liam has been growing like a fertilized weed! Everyday he shows us a new trick. He's working on something big, and we are all very excited. It starts with a "w" and ends with "alking". That's right, it's coming fast! We've gone from heavily assisted stumbling to barely grabbing fingers to walking with grabbing only one finger. Today he stood unassisted for a solid 10 seconds till he realized that no one was holding him up! He loves to lead you around and around and around t and around and around the couch until Dada needs a breather, whew! He's simply an amazing little man cub. 10000% boy. Loves everything from pushing his dump truck around with a "bbbbbbbbb" to wrestling with Dada to eating anything food-like he can get his hands on. He has also started pointing at everything, so pretty much everything and anything has become a target of his chubby little finger.
Ok, so on with the pics. There will be a lot.
Ready for work!
Cheap fun! Sliding in the storage bin!
About a month ago we decided to abandon the infant bath tub to see how he would handle being in the big tub. Well, he loved it and he does very well, except that now he wants to stand up all the time.
Big boy boots!
Pushing the truck around is big time fun!
Swinging at the park!
Thought I would let him serve himself. He had fun, but may have not been the best idea...
Some more fun on his hog...
At the base of Sully's statue. There's an Aggie tradition, one of about 40 bazillion, in which the kids leave pennies at the feat of Sully's statue during exam time. Needless to say that during finals is tough to find a place to drop a coin or two.
Momma and Liam under the Century Tree. The Century Tree is another big Aggie tradition. As the story goes, when you walk under the trees branches with your sweetheart, you are doomed...uh...I mean destined to spend a lifetime together. Though is was a fitting place to let the boy stretch his legs a bit...
Tomorrow is a big day for us as we are loading up to head south for the summer. We are looking forward to spending time with our families and getting a break from college student lifestyle.
Hope everyone is well!
