Kids are amazing!

As if yall didn't already know, Liam is a genius. Yup, a genuine genius! Allow me to explain. We are fighting an ear infection at the moment, so he's not napping too well. He powered through a 20 minute late afternoon nap, but it was obviously not enough. So I rocked him for a bit, and thought maybe he would sleep a little better if he and I laid down in our bed. Didn't work, but he and I started playing around and having a great time.

Like all good parents we have a monitor system to keep an ear on his room. Nothing special just a mic in his room and a speaker in our room, the usual. But our speaker has a series of colored led's that as the sound gets louder, more light up. Our rooms are very close together and the mic is sensitive enough to broadcast sounds from our room. We were playing and our little Einstein rolled over and looked straight at the speaker on the nightstand and proceeded to yell. Louder and louder. Over and over again. He wasn't upset, not crying, just making the speaker light up. Simply incredible that this little dude already has that thing all figured out.

Ok. Done bragging. Just amazed at these little fellers.

We're crawling!!!!!

Well, looks like we have a crawler on our hands!!!

Stinks that spring break is ending tonight, but we had a great time! Liam was Mr. entertainer today with lots of smile, laughs and talking!

Our little feller is growing like a weed! He's not crawling like his cousin yet, but he often assumes the pose. We figure he must be satisfied with his current method of transportation.

sorry for the complete lack of posts for the last few weeks. My workload has ramped up significantly, and I am dead in the middle of a long week of mid-terms. I'll be sure to bombard the interweb with pics over spring break.

We are all well. Liam's growing like a weed! Look forward to seeing family this weekend.
