Some pics from our "Babymoon"

With a move and a new job on the very near horizon, I booked a night at the 7F Lodge and Spa so Aimee and I could duck out of town for a night of r&r(http://www.7flodge.com/). They have an array of themed private cabins. I arranged for a masseuse to come to our cabin, deemed "The Barn" to give Aimee a much needed massage. Apparently, Dawn had "hands of an angel", and was invited to move in with us. She politely declined.
Here's us on the front porch of the cabin. Think that it's supposed to look like a loading dock. Pretty sure it was part of the theme. The inside was amazing. Wall to wall reclaimed wood. Methinks the wood actually was a barn at one point.
We checked in at the office at the front of the property, the attendant signed me in then politely said the key is in the door and it was. Don Williams was playing on the stereo as we walked into the cabin. It was perfect. There was an old pair of boots and a straw hat in the cabin, so we had to have some fun with them. Our morning coffee never tasted so good. Well, mine was great, Aimee's was decaf. Psssh, decaf??!!

One night was plenty. We are rested and rejuvenated ready for our next adventure. The beauty of this trip was it felt like a real vacation, but it was at most 10 minute from our apartment.

I received and email from our friends Andrea and Gilly. Seems as though little Miss Rylynn has made her grand appearance. Things were better than expected, so Dr.'s are pleased. Here's the story in her words:

Gilly and I are so happy to let you know that Little Miss Rylynn has arrived..and with great news! They didn't have to perform the cath procedure! The Atrial Septum, which was starting to close a few weeks ago, was open at birth. We haven't gotten the details for her Norwood procedure yet, but it will be one day next week - we'll keep you posted.

As you can see, she has a TON of dark hair...so much that the NICU nurses made a big pink bow for her! :) She looks just like Gilly! The doctors are very pleased with her condition so far.

Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers...they are obviously working! "
